Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 until 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki was then appointed the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] She was hired at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30,2014. In the year 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration.
